Client found not guilty after trial. PNC updated immediately to show no bail conditions. Seeking return of passport from Wolverhampton police station. Told only officer in case (PC Amy Wright). Unacceptable delay of over half an hour despite visit to the station the day before to give notice of intention to retrieve passport. .

The Police say:

We are sorry your client experienced difficulties when attempting to retrieve their passport. We trust this has now been resolved. If not please let us know and we will attempt to assist

Police officers behaviour absolutely shocking! Because I looked out of my window wondering why street was full of police this is classed as acting suspiciously so I had to let police on to search my home from top to bottom. No common sense amongst them as the culprit it turns out happened to be in my neighbours but the officer said he was "special" so they didn't have to search him. Totally appalling!

There was an incident in Lichwood Road, Wednesfield last week which involved something to do with a car parked outside my flat. This car was nothing to do with me but just happened to be parked near to my flat. I happened to look out my window and see several police cars and officers, apparently this makes me look suspicious so I have officers hammering on my door demanding I let them in to search my property. I suggested they were looking in the wrong flat and pointed out another flat they may find more information from. The officers response was "it won't be him he's special ". Just letting you know their attitude was appalling and they frightened me in my own home

I filed a complaint to the Police Complaints department way back in July 2016. I had been a victim of threatening behaviour and hate crime as a disabled and gay citizen. To date, despite an officer visiting my home to investigate on September 1st, I have had no letter as promised to outline the results of the investigation, or a visit from the local neighbourhood team as promised, or a named Liaison officer as promised, and then they wonder why the public have no confidence in the police force!

My 91 year old mother-in-law with early dementure had very unexpectedly gone missing, and we were very concerned as she was always home before dark and temperatures were falling towards freezing. The staff at Bloxwich Station couldn't have been more understanding and responded rapidly by phoning all hospitals in Birmingham, sending out an alert with her photo and searching bus stations. Happily they found her just before midnight, still wandering around, and brought her home safely. We couldn't have asked for a more professional and effective response. Log No 2338.

I was involved in my first car accident on way to work. The driver was uninsured, abandoned his vehicle and fled the scene. PC Jones and PC Woodcock from Stetchford attended and were great at providing reassurance and helped calm nerves. Despite being left out of pocket, the manner of the police officers was very well received by myself and local community who were watching. This goes a long way considering its my first police contact. I feel it's imperative the guys who do their jobs well and treat the public with such a positive and professional attitude are recognised. Well done to PC Jones and PC Woodcock for making an unpleasant evening a lot easier to get through.

Disgusting children hurt by a speeding motorist with no license & the police don't even turn up at the scene after me calling 999 twice stating my child needed ambulance & the driver was speeding & had no license the police didn't turn up my husband waited 1 hour & 40 minutes disgusting service

Thank you for your comments regarding this incident. We are sorry you feel this incident was not resourced/handled in the most appropriate manner. We understand that you have now spoken with a supervisor within the Force Contact who has been able to resolve this matter for you. The relevant call handler has been suitably advised regarding the way they dealt with this incident . Further to this the supervisor was able to explain to you certain aspects of this matter which you were not fully aware of at the time. We trust this has been resolved to your satisfaction, albeit there is still an outstanding appointment to be met. We are sorry for any upset this incident may have caused you and your family.

It was amazing to see a big police presence throughout cheylesmore today - seen two police cars in a matter of a few minutes patrolling the streets which reassures me and other people we are safe.

It's great to hear that we were able to provide you and other members of your community with reassurance and comfort through a visible Police presence. My son and daughter attended harbourne station (27 10.2016) arranged by Collin Conlon. The two police officers were beyond professional, helpful and informative. My son has expressed an interest in joining the police force when he leaves school and the visit to harbourne station has reinforced this career path. I would like to thank Collin and the two very enthusiastic police officers for increasing my sons enthusiasm further and making his experience one he will never forget ( my daughter just wants to by pass the police officer stage and go straight to being in CID!) A police officer called my mum and dads out to investigate fight that happened at 5 o'clock in the day but unfortunately they knocked the door at midnight which terrified my mum and dad H 70+ years of age surely they could call it a more appropriate time

We are sorry the officer caused your parents such distress late at night. It can only be assumed that the seriousness of the incident warranted the officers having to knock doors at that time of night. All assistance from members of the public is greatly appreciated and we would not want to jeopardise any future help however sometimes these unfortunate circumstances cannot be avoided. Been trying to report a crime for about an hour on 101. No answer. Tried the Social Media.... all links go back to the West Midlands website. So look like the only way I can report a crime is via 999 or through the good old postal system... thank god I'm not being held at gun point!

The Police say:

We are sorry for the difficulties that you had trying to report the crime. We note that you were eventually able to do so however accept that you will have endured a huge amount of frustration during this process. The staff within the contact centre are fully aware of the calls waiting and work tirelessly to process them professionally and swiftly. Unfortunately sometimes when the demand is particularly high there are members of the public who experience difficulties in getting through. We hope that should you need to call the Police again you do not experience this same problem.

I am increasing getting frustrated in the manner WMP is continuing to disregard any form of accountability and being upfront with providing basic information. I was asked to provide information in order to have my vehicle released and upon this being undertaken there has been no form of straight forward communication. My job role are dealing with the public and violence I get a lot of support from the police when seaks assistance. I would just like to thank PC Nick Steventon 7247 for his help, outstanding support and the advice given to me in two very different matters. I found PC Nick Steventon very approachable and reassuring in both matters. The first time I met PC Steventon was in connection with malicious letters sent about the previous owner of my property. I found this an extremely distressing situation and due to the nature of the letters i was clearly very worried. I feel people often complain and rarely give raise and thanks when needed. I therefore would like to formally take this opportunity to thank PC Nick Steventon for the way he supported myself and my family at that particular time. I intended to send this email immediately after the help was given by PC Steventon but never got around to it. I have recently been involved in a road traffic accident and again needed some advice. Nick has yet again given me the reassurance i needed and advised accordingly. Two completely different issue but Nick dealt with both professionally. I believe Mr Steventon is a credit to the West Midlands Police force and would appreciate this be forwarded to his Sargent. Kindest Regards Kate Thompson

We contacted 111 and were dealt with in a very professional and helpful way, we then spoke with PC Mapp who was extremely helpful and friendly and 'went the extra mile' in answering a concern for us, we had a response later the same day, even ringing us a number of times as I was having phone problems! Very pleased and impressed with the level of professionalism from all involved, thank you

Please be aware the amount of times you have to visit your local police station when you need an update into the investigation of a case where you have had to deal with drug addicted harassment and criminal damage caused by neighbours for a number of years. They was no help whatsoever and because these criminals were very friendly with the local bobbies they brought in child protection to try and shut me up. Then they started accusing all in my household that we were very poorly with a serious mental illness, but only within my home and when we leave our home we are completely cured! SO PLEASE BE AWARE THAT THIS LOCAL POLICE FORCE WILL DO FAR MORE DAMAGE THAN THE NEIGHBOURS I REPORTED. my life is in ruins and my family torn apart because of you trying to cover up the mistakes you made. I was assaulted in my own home by two neighbours I am in recovery with a broken back when this happened I immediately rang 999 no one attended I made several 999 calls and 101 calls , at 6pm when an officer attended I was told nothing cud be done because no one attended when the incident happened earlier in the day , I was then advised to accept a letter of apology frm the people that assaulted me leaving me with a black eye swollen and bruised nose and more pain in my back , I am disgusted in this I am still in shock from the system that allows people to break in to my home and assault me , what is the world comming to ? This was Kidderminster police stations way of dealing with my request to have them arrested. No sorry we can't because no one attended when it happened !!!!

Domestic incident - PC Kilby and PC Jones acted sensitively ensuring that they understood the situation before acting. They took into account my feelings/comments and ensured I was happy with the approach they were going to take. Result they returned my belongings so that I could continue my journey. They ensured I was safe.
